• To ensure product is palletised, wrapped and loaded on trailers in an accurate and timely fashion.
• To ensure the dispatch area is audit ready at all times.

Reporting to: Head of Operations
Responsible to: Directors

General Duties

• Safe operation of mechanical equipment including palletisers, wrappers forklifts & power pallet trucks
• Put-away of incoming raw materials in a timely & efficient manner
• Complete load preparations & pre-delivery checks to highest standard
• Conduct pre-loading hygiene checks of transport vehicles
• Participate in inventory control & stock counts as required
• Accurate completion of operational records in support of the food safety & traceability system
• Communicate internally any issues or queries with deliveries of stock
• Identify & report any damages, accidents or quality deficiencies
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene & cleanliness in the line / dispatch area
• Strict compliance to all Health & Safety directives
• Cover for colleagues absence as and when necessary

Eligibility Criteria

Essential

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift & PPT Licence
• Full Drivers Licence
• 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong understanding of stock management processes
• Team player

Desirable

• Shunter experience
• Experience in a food production environment
